Our Story
Our motivation to start this company is rooted in a deep desire to help people preserve their heritage and capture the lives of the people that mean the most to them.
After my father died in 2000, I soon realized that my son and daughter would never be able to get to know him as I did and this made a deep impression on me. I contacted Brad who I had known for over twenty years, and we both felt that providing a service to help families capture the story of their fathers and mothers or grandparents would be a significant and rewarding endeavor.
Both Brad and I have backgrounds in the network television and film industry, so we assembled a team of professionals with enterainment industry experience with the goal of creating the best biographies in the marketplace—striving for quality so good that you would not be able to tell the difference between our work and the programs you see on television. The client that selects Remarkable Lives doesn't settle for second best or someone that just shoots weddings for a living. We specialize in making biographies and have a assembled a team that reflects our commitment to quality and perfection.

Brad's entertainment career spans over 20 years working for Paramount Pictures, Universal Studios, Warner Bros., and the Walt Disney Studios. Brad produced and directed four documentaries, and most recently a national infomercial for a worldwide nonprofit organization. With over 150 episode hours of network television credit, Brad has a well-developed eye for high-quality production value.
David was trained by the Sony Video Institute in Hollywood. His production experience includes over 80 industrial and cable productions, including Sony, Land Rover, EarthLink, FOX News, KCET and JTN. In addition to his production background, David is credited with initiating and managing several successful marketing programs for Prodigy and EarthLink with major strategic partners such as Best Buy and Wal-Mart. David has also managed and directed over 300 regional and national marketing events in his career.
With production history dating from 1964, John brings more depth and experience to the team than any other member. His eye for detail, careful visual design, effective lighting skills and extensive production experience make him a valued asset. John has worked for: ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS (Frontline, The News Hour, Charlie Rose) as well as National Geographic, BBC, MTV, FOX, CNN, Discovery, ESPN, Lifetime and many others.
John also Directs and Produces most reenactments on our high end packages.
Brad has over 13 years of post production supervision experience having coordinated and delivered hundreds of hours of prime-time episodic television for ABC, CBS, NBC, and FOX as well as several cable networks.
Amanda brings 19 years of production experience in feature films, episodic TV, commercials and documentaries to Remarkable Lives. Freelancing on numerous productions for "Unsolved Mysteries," "America's Most Wanted" and documentary films has given her an expertise in working with real people and specializing in the interview format.
Terry Jones has over 20 years experience in video and film production. His talents include: television writing, both film and video camera operation, producing industrial, promotional, and training projects and broadcast-quality commercials.
